Job description
We are looking for a driven QA ENGINEER to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll help us make sure our geospatial intelligence platform is top-notch by developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies.
Your responsibilities
Test the Geospatial Future:
Develop and maintain test plans and test cases for our advanced geospatial platform.
Perform manual testing across various features and modules—no detail will escape your watchful eye!
Design and implement automated test scripts for smooth and efficient regression testing.
Validate the accuracy of geospatial data rendering, processing, and analysis functionality.
Take on functional, integration, performance, and usability testing to ensure the platform performs flawlessly.
Be the QA Champion:
Contribute to continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
Ensure geospatial data visualization and rendering is on point and ready for prime time.
Use your experience with test case design, execution, and defect reporting to keep our platform in top shape.
The role also involves handling support-related tasks.
Job requirements
Skills and Experiences
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or technical support roles.
First line support - clients.
A solid understanding of test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, etc.
Proficiency with issue tracking systems like JIRA.
Experience with testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Nice to Have
Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, etc.
Experience in testing web applications and services.
Your Profile
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills of both written and spoken English.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
